Despite not completely filling all the events with both an A & B runner Team Kingston performed and energetically and give the TMs an good indication of current form and hopefully the athletes themselves were pleased after their winter’s training. Notable performances by the U13s: Thomas -2A in 100m, 200m and 75m hurdles and earning 15 points – narrowly missing 1st place in all events; Olly - 1A in both 800m (2.23.9) and 200m, Aaron 1A JT, 1B shot, 2A HJ earning 17 points, Luca - 3B 100m, 3A LJ 4.08m, 1A Shot, Freddy - excelling in HJ 1.30m and Joshua in the 1500m gave a solid run by improving on last year. And thanks to Sam Clark for the 75m hurdles and Javelin. BUT our 4 x 200m relay team of Olly, Thomas, Aaron & Matteo came 1st.

U13 Athlete of the match is awarded to Aaron.

Non scoring U13s: Michael is improving in strength over the 800m. Good to see Tom and Louis out running an 800m. These boys are currently in the Kestrel training group.

In U15s. Sol secured 2A in a best of 2.13.5 and held off the challenge from the Dorking runner. He then ran a solid 300m for 3rd. Sam Shaw (after playing football in the morning) 2A 1500m 4.48.8. Having NO true sprinters in this age for this match, our MD boys stepped in and brothers, Jorge & Tiago helped us with Tiago 2B & running 27.9. Jack Westley 3A TJ in 8.94m and for the first time! However, Alex Burrows completely surprised himself with his 2A HJ of 1.50m & confident throws in JT and DT and was rewarded with 12 points for the club.

U15 Athlete of the match is awarded to Alex Burrows.

Good to see some new talent running in the U11s, Jackson Claugher 75m 12.6, 150m 25.4; Charlie White 13.1 & 150m 25.4; Alfie Westley 150m 25.0; Tom Wilson 150m 25.0. No doubt you’ve noticed the some familiar surnames here!
