Beginners / Improvers Running Group Print

Richard Holt and Pat Logan, through Momentum Sports, Kingsmeadow running group at 11.00am each Sunday morning.

The aim of the group is to help those who are either new to running or are looking to make improvements in what they do build a good solid platform of fitness and technique all in a fun and relaxed environment with coaches who have many years of experience in the sport and have coached at all levels from total beginners upwards.
There are two groups within the session, one for beginners and one for improvers.  The groups stay close together so that no-one gets left behind and everyone encourages each other.
There is no shouting or screaming (we fundamentally don't believe in the "boot camp" type mentality). There is just helpful advice and encouragement to allow you to push your body and start feeling years younger and fitter again.
Making sure we work properly on all aspects of running, including technique, can both greatly improve fitness and also reduce the risk of injury, so you are a free to enjoy more of the sport you've chosen.
