5th - Bushy Park TT - George Corcoran continued his good recent form with a handy 8th in his best time for the course(18.04);whilst Natalie Sacre placed 278th in 25.46.
5th - Birmingham League,Div 1 - James Robertson again led his Warwick Uni. team home in arguably the strongest league in the UK,finishing 63rd of the 230+ competitors.
6th - Eton - Family 'pecking order' was only just maintained at WSEH's first Indoor Meet of the winter. After 3rd places in their respective R1 races of the 60M.,U17 Nick Logan(7.89) just held the bragging rights over father Pat(M45)(7.92),but,in their R2 races,honour was restored and experience(fear!)held sway with our President winning his heat in 7.79 to Nick's 3rd with 7.86.
13th - A small 'mob' descended on Lee Valley(indoors) - Bilen Ahmet won the PV(3.40)and generally put himself about,as ever(LJ 5.10/HJ 1.65/TJ 11.64/200 26.16).Otherwise it was almost all 200s - Jason-Louis Bernard 23.70/Draco Mkpa 24.32/Victor Makia 25.18/Nick Logan(a winner 25.85)/Mike May 28.21(plus 65.01 400)and Pat Logan 24.51 behind the impressively-named Nana Nottinson-Nyaaku!
19th - Bushy Park TT - 167th an improving Natalie Sacre 24m26 pb.
19th - Wimbledon - Sud de Thames Champs - Malheureusement,seulement les trois veterans - M le McDonough(M65) 151st 59.49;M le Greenfield(M50) 152nd 59.55;M le Reed(M60) 186th 69.11. Tres gallants. 192 finissent.
20th - Final Surrey Classic,Horton CP - With ice reducing the field and the distance from 10k to 5.8 miles,Liz Richardson was our only hardy runner,finishing 75th on the day(46.22) and taking 35th overall(3 races),and 8th Woman.
12th - SECTA Weight Pentathlon,Ewell Court - Camilla Thrush's final 2009 'fling' produced 3301pts to take the W40 event - 36.91HT/9.62SP/30.59DT/23.98JT/11.36WT.
26th - Bushy PTT - Natalie Sacre ran into 155th(25.17) in the final race of 2009.
