KESTREL CLUB NEWS

The Kestrel Club has now been running for 6 months and has proved very popular with both coaches and athletes alike. Several of the youngsters have already competed for the club over the winter and more will do so when we get to the summer season.

The sessions are for Years 4 to 9 at school and are used as a springboard to getting youngsters excited about the sport and then hopefully moving on to more senior groups within the club, when they are ready.

We are now looking to expand the Kestrel Club further. The scheme is going to be extended from Tuesdays to include a Sunday morning as well. Current athletes are being given the choice to do both sessions (Years 6 and above), to stay with Tuesdays or swap to Sundays.

We have spaces available for any new youngsters wishing to be coached by our team of expert coaches. We are also always looking to improve even further the coaching for the youngsters, so if you are interested in joining the coaching team and are an experienced coach who would like to receive some money for doing the thing you love,please let us know.

Coaches for All

We cater for runners, jumpers, throwers and multi-eventers on the track, in the field, on the roads or over the country and are based at Kingsmeadow in Kingston-upon-Thames (KT1 3PB). We'll be very happy to help you with your sport – so please just get in touch and we'll do all we can to assist.
