With one round to go,the SWL team consolidated their position towards the top of Division Two though the 3rd place at the superb Thames Valley Centre was just short of lifting us into a promotion place.Highlights included the usual substantial points from Dominique Blaize,Camilla Thrush & Rachel Burbridge and supporting cast with welcome enhancements from the returning mum,Debbie Raymond and from U17 Jenny Davies with a pb SP at 9.75 - and a win over Camilla Thrush! Only a nap hand of youngsters with, again, usual top scorers Harriet Lester,Roseanne Mackay(gritty 200 A string win) & Rachel Moore dominating but the most heartening performances in this group came from U13s Lucy Jones, improving to 13.8 over 75 hurdles, and from Josie Inverdale who murdered her 800 pb bringing it down to 2.39.2. Last match is at Kingsmeadow on Sep 11. Scores:WSEH 186,Ashford 166,K&P 156,N Devon 149,W Suffolk 68. We are 9th overall.
