News of an 11th successive Rosenheim success for our Men,and a return to winning ways for the Women.

There was a significant Cantab contribution to HW's Rosenheim Men's team win at lovely Eton.

TM Humphrey(6 events inc all 4 field events - and where would we have been without him?) and Richard Mathie(an 800/1500/3000 treble on his first track appearance this summer,after a Half Iron Man and a 330 mile cycle event in recent weeks),contributed….well!…a lot! H grabbed a HJ/TJ double(1.75/13.55) plus a pb 16.5 110H and a 200 leg in the winning 4x200 team. Richard was 2nd scorer in both 800 & 3000 and headed scorer,Ron Taylor,in the 1500. Chris Hall reverted to a 100/200 double win,and Adam Bellis took the 400. Richard Holt and Chris Jennings contributed with Chris Hall and Humphrey to the relay win,and Victor Nwagbara(51.5) and Maris Kuklis completed a small,but effective squad,which marches on to R6 and the Final.

For the Women,there were a half dozen on parade to ensure a comprehensive victory - Isabelle Hatton(100/200) and Lana Whatley(100H) raced to new PBs,whilst Tasha Cook(400/TJ),TM Sasha herself(HJ/SP),Liz Richardson(1500 in 5.54.3 SB/3000) and Nicky Atkins(800/NS200) completed the team.

Teamwise,the Men won by 51 to 49 from SMR etc(another deadly 2 point victory!) and lead comprehensively by 25 LPs to SM's 20 etc;the Women won 49-30 over Walton et al.,and hold a 2 point margin over the same club at the top.
