CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE MAY,already Vets AC Hon Treasurer,who was elected PRESIDENT of the Club at their recent AGM.

1st - parkruns - BP:In a field of 800+,U13 Harry Reynolds was a most encouraging 46th in 19.36,with Avelline Deighton 383rd(25.41)+++++Roundshaw:Maureen Chitty placed 69th/95 in 30.37.

2nd - Wimbledon Audi 10k - Jamie McCullagh was a comfortable winner of this road race in 36.41,so I suppose we should forgive him for missing the Club 5 Champs the day before!

8th - parkruns - Laura Darcey(182nd 23.25) and Rebecca Keddie(282nd 25.13) contested the Bushy run,whilst Maureen Chitty was again in action at Roundshaw Down(54th 30.43).

16th - Croydon 10k - Ron Taylor finished 17th in 37.32.

15th - parkruns - A naphand in Bushy - 25 Philip Bearman jnr 18.39,54 Harry Reynolds 19.55,139 Liz Richardson 21.55,234 Natalie Sacre 23.19,355 Avelline Deighton 25.28.

22nd - Richmond Park(again) - There was a reasonable K&P turnout at this annual very friendly Bank of England-tea-rewarded fixture. The field was larger than usual with an influx from Milocarians,the UK Forces Club,who fielded several strapping young Sandhurst Officer Cadets. The usual 4.9m course was as hard as nails and there were nippy times to be had,despite the hilly terrain. Jamie McCullagh's track speed shone through and he led K&P home in 3rd,just ahead of Richard Mathie and TM Matt Hyett. Peter Wilkins,happily returning to good form, and Ant Budarkiewicz closed in our scorers,though a raft of Milos ahead of them ensured a team win for the Squaddies ,with K&P 2nd of the several outfits in attendance. Full results from the Bank are on this site,where you will find the K&P mob was completed by Bob McDonough,James and David Greenfield,Geoff Reed OBE and a rear-gunner - in fairness,the bloke at the back took a short cut and was d'q'd! Cashel Riordan will send you splendid personal piccies,if you ask him.

29th - parkruns - Bushy:16th Phil Bearman Jnr 18.04,31st PB Snr 18.50,197th Natalie Sacre 23.05,604th Lauren Hilton 30.52. 713 completed. Then,at the Kingston version,Rhianna Reynolds was 40th(28.35) and,at the Richmond Park race,Fiona Whatley placed 213th(31.23).

30th - Oxshott - Liz Richardson,finding some useful form in her new Age Group,was well up in David Denton's first Surrey Classic of the winter at Oxshott,placing 70th/214 in 46.58. Next race is on November 6th from Nonsuch Park.
