EA have announced swingeing increases - from the current £5 p.a. - for 2013 and beyond for Track & Field
For Seniors - 2013:£20 p.a.,rising by £1 each year to 2017.
For Under 17s - 2013:£15 p.a..,rising by £1 each year to 2017.
For Under 11s - £15 for a goodie bag,but it's an optional cash cow!
For CC & Road only members - £10 flat

6th - parkruns - In Bushy(994 ran),Jamie McCullagh finished 8th(17.00),ahead of both Philip Bearmans(J/S 17th/18th 17.49/17.51),U15s Neil Wellard and Harry Reynolds 32/34 18.42/18.47) and newcomer,Aaron Bruce in 107th(20.16)====at Kingston(81),Phoebe Law took 4th 19.50,Laura Cook 16th 21.46 and Rebecca Keddie 24th in 23.00====Chairman Geoff Reed was 156th(26.38) and Fiona Whatley 195th(29.02) in Riichmond====and on Wombledin Common(397),Natalie Sacre placed 138th(24.21) and Cashel Riordan(309th) with 30.31. Almost all of these regularly compete for the Club,so we look forward to their running in all the forthcoming Leagues and Championships.
13th - Ewell - Gareth Cook decided against doing the Surrey Masters CC Champs in favour of his debut at this SECTA Throws Pentathlon. He duly won the M40 section with 2824pts(11.32SP/10.44WT/31.54DT/48.34HT/30.60JT).
13th - Princeton,NJ - Molly Renfer(Harvard) placed 47th in the Princeton University Invitational(22.42).
13th - parkruns - A swathe of our youngsters raced in Bushy(884 finished) - Philip Bearman Jnr led in at 15th(17.44),then his father 20th(17.56),Josh Hall 32nd(18.50),Lucie Fletcher 145th(21.35),Morrison Cleaver 153rd(21.47),Rebecca Keddie 198th(22.26),Ben Paton 206th(22.36) and Kathryn Bartle 239th 23.07). At Kingston Ham Lands(86f),Laura Cook was 12th(21.22) and Richard Vassall 85th(35.35);and on Wimbledon Common,Jorge Beltrao was 66th of 355(21.37).
20th - parkruns - Both Philip Bearmans ran in Bushy(911 ran) before moving to Nork Park to race in the Surrey League,taking 12th/13th 18.19/18.20 with Matthew Stevens also doing that double to cement his LYG place as well as commiting to the Club,finishing 19th(18.41) and Lucille Fletcher 88th(20.45) & Morrison Cleaver 90th(20.49). In the Kingston event(65 ran),Laura Dunkling was 11th(22.15) and Richard Vassall 64th(35.43),whilst Fiona Whatley took 197th in Richmond(277fin) and Jorge Beltrao was 32nd of 258 on Wimbledon Common.
21st - Amsterdam HOL - Fine Marathon PB for Harry Johnston,taking 71st in 2.37.47,the best time by a club member for some years.
26th - Las Vegas NV/Princeton NJ - HCA Luke Caldwell(DMV) won his first US title by taking the Mountain West Conference Mens CC Championship in Nevada,leading his New Mexico University colleagues to the team title as well. Same side of the Pond,Molly Renfer(Harvard) placed 71st in the Heptagonal CC Champs in New Jersey.
27th - Roehampton Gate - Matt Hyett(3rd) led the small K&P contingent to 3rd place in the team race in the Annual Fall Friendly Five With Tea and Buns over the Bank of England's course in Richmond Park. The team was completed by Michael Huntley(5th),Ron Taylor(8th),M50 Ant Budarkiewicz(19th),W45 Nicky Atkins(34th) and M65 Geoff Reed(40th),with K&P accumulating 109pts in the 6-to-score match,behind Bank 48,Milocarians 97,but ahead of Elmbridge Runners 124 and Thames Hare & Hounds 141.
27th - parkrun - At Bushy,Phil Bearman Jnr/Snr accomplished their regular Sat a.m. Training in 25th/26th (18.37/18.38),with Matt Stevens also well up in 31st(18.55) out of 818 finishers. Elsewhere,just Fiona Whatley in 183rd/270 at Richmond was in action.
