With Chris Dack assuming some Team Management responsibilities, with help from Natalie Sacre, there were still not enough at King George PF to fill the teams, though the Men did win. Please support them both from now on in with trips further afield to Twickenham,Eton & Woking to complete the regular season - the Final is at Kingsmeadow. Some of the 15 members there travelled from some distance to turn out,so it is possible, even allowing for traffic delays.
In the Women's match, our lack of a winner cost us,with only 3 teams really bothering, which leaves little margin to catch up once behind. Clare McLeish,Nicky Atkins and Alex Bartle claimed 2nds,with Debbie Raymond,Liz Richardson,Natalie Sacre and Sarah Harris making up the tiny squad of 7.
The Men were indebted to wins from Chris Hall,Justin Green,Loic Malroux,Andy Wheble(2) and Bilen Ahmet, with Andy Gordon,Cashel Riordan and Chris Dack in support. The latter combined TM-ing with testing Andy Wheble in the Discus, but it was really Bilen who 'saved' the day after a nightmare journey from North London, which gave him no time to warm up for the Vault but saw him win the Triple AND,at much the same time, treble up(800/1500/3000) in the gaps left by the complete absence of any middle distance runners - shame on you, gentlemen.
