Athletics Weekly have commenced presenting the Annual NUTS Top Twenty(approx)lists this week(Oct 20) with the Junior(U20/U17) Women - Dominique Blaize is the K&P presence at 3rd in the Long Jump(6m.03),7th in the High Jump(1.76i/1.75) & 10th in the Shot(11.94i).
In the Under 20 Mens Lists,Kyle Stevens is ranked 4th in the 6k SP(16.78i),6th in the 7.26 SP(13.89) & 19th in the 6k HT(50.71),remembering he spent a large period of the summer out of action with a broken foot.
Dominique has a significant entry at U17W level - 20th= 200 25.51/7th 100H 15.6m/3rd HJ 1.76i&1.75/2nd LJ 6.03 & 4th SP 11.94i&11.10. Just missing the AW ranking is Sarah Harris' 40.71 300 which must be 21st since the lists ends at 40.7!
In the Under 15 Girls listings,Harriet Lester's hand-timed 11.8 puts her into the top thirty.
In the Under 15 Boys,we have 3 members - Stuart Price's 11.44 80m Hurdles plus 11.33w/11.4m ranks him 5th in the UK;Prath Kaneri leaps into 7th equal with his 1m80 HJ and Josh Diffley's 12m23.TJ places him in 18th.
None of our Under 13 Girls managed to rank,but ,of the Under 13 Boys,William Trimble squeezed in at 20th in the Javelin(32m.84) and two of Maurice Joyce's vaulting disciples,Jan-Dominik Vogel & Gordon Lester,saw their 1m.90 efforts listed at 8th equal.
Finally,the Open Rankings - Highest placer is Nic Owen(SP 16th 15.76),who also ranks 50th in the Discus(44.85);Dominique Blaize takes 18th at HJ - 1.76i/1.75,she's 18th= at LJ with her 6.03 & 43rd at SP with her indoor 11.94; in the Mens Hammer,Gareth Cook's 56.36 ranked him 29th & Mark Roberts' 5749pt Decathlon gave him 26th.
And last,and probably least,just the top three in the Vets are listed and Charlie W.(M70) & David B(M60) were the only ones to make it.
