Mike May reports that in the World Master's Championships in Porto Alegre in Brazil,  Pat Logan became the M50 world 100m champion in a time of 11.79 after posting 12.00 in the heats and 11.9 in the Semis.

Pat was not alone in achieving a medal, with Andy Robinson gaining a bronze in the M45 5000m with a time of 15:48:11.
