It was a case of new age groups and PBs for several of the K and P throwers at Kingsmeadow on Saturday.
Pippa Wingate started off her season well with PB's at Shot (11.85) and Discus (41.01) which is also new Club record and also got her hammer off to a good start.
Isabelle Dodd debuted as an u17 hammer thrower with a PB of 30.04
Sophie Dimbleby (u15) using the new 500g spec in the Javelin threw 21.61 and then improved to 25.46 at the Hercules meeting at Wimbledon the next day.
For Rory McCann (new u20) things went the other way with a better javelin throw at Kingsmeadow (41.81) than Wimbledon (41.21)
Gareth Cook (new m45) did shot (12.20) Discus (35.15) and hammer (49.93), while Steve Simmonds (also a new m45) did a double with shot (9.95) and Hammer (35.39). Rob Lowe (new m50) did a Javelin (27.35) and Discus (22.07) double.
The other K and P members were Chris Dack (SM) Shot (14.61) and Renzo Di Libero (m50) who did a Shot (10.16) and Discus (28.43) double.
