Important change - venues of matches 2 and 3 previous advised have been swapped. The season now runs
18 May Kingsmeadow
15 June Ewell
29 June Walton
13 July Croydon
I now have the programmes for the matches. Even if you have advised you cannot compete, please read on as we have field judging duties at the away matches and anyone who can help will be most welcome.
The swap of matches means the season is a bit unsymetrical in terms of what events are in each match (more later). There are some m70 events this year and the 4 x 100 relay at the first match has to include at least one m50 and one m60. Other relays are unrestricted. Even if your age group doesn't have your event in a match you should be able to non score or go down an age group.
Match 1 men's events are
100, 400,1500,5000, 4x100 relay,Hammer,PV,Discus and LJ. M70 strings in 100 and Discus - we host and officiate men's and women's PV
Match 2 men's events are
200,800,3000,4x400 relay, PV, Hammer, TJ,Shot. M70 strings in 200m and Hammer
We officiate at Men's and Women's Hammer, particularly need volunteers as need at least four officials for this.
Match 3 men's events are
2000m walk, 800,200,5000, 4x200 relay, Discus,TJ,HJ, Javelin. M70 events are 800m and Javelin. We are due to officiate the women's Discus at 6.30pm.
Match 4 men's events are
100m, 2000m Walk, 400,1500, 4 x 100 relay, Javelin, HJ,Shot and LJ. M70 events are 1500 and LJ. We are due to officiate the men's and women's High Jump.
Please let me know your preferences
