id1893-AAA Standard Badges

Written by Julie Reynolds

The Jack Petchey Fund is again providing AAA standard badges for the U13-U17 age groups,  paid up members of K&P who competed during the summer 2017 season are eligible.

This year we are doing things slightly differently to previous years, as badges are expensive and not all athletes want them.  So please can you check this link: Click onto the standards document and if you have achieved the times or distances for your age group and would like a badge and certificate, then please contact me, Julie Reynolds via the Contact tab, with the event(s) and performance and I will buy the badges requested.  Grade 1 badges will be presented at the AGM in February, all other grades can be collected from Kingsmeadow.

To keep costs down the following will apply:

  • Outdoor performances only.
  • For U13’s 75m and 150m and 1200m only issued if 100m or 200m or 1500m have not been achieved, so each athlete can only receive 75m OR 100m, 150m OR 200m and 1200m OR 1500m, whichever is graded highest.
  • Only AAA results that appear on The Power of 10 can be used, it is up to the athlete to make sure their profile has all performances for the season.
  • Wind assisted performances are not eligible.
  • Combined events scores will not be included, however standards achieved during combined events will count.

Please contact me by November 30th as I will be ordering the badges in one batch, anyone wanting a badge after this date can order them direct from EA at their own cost.
