Third matchday and the third day of glorious sunshine! After two 2ndplaces, we turned out with our largest team in a long while with 40 athletes and won the day handsomely!

With the win this placed 3rdoverall in the final league table. With individual points we would have won the league. This shows what good turn can produce so we hope for the same at the Cup Finals!!
It was fantastic to see another good turnout of 7 girls turn out for our U11’s. We welcome newcomer Mia Usher.
We had a strong team of U13’s with 12 girls. We also had a newcomer in this age group and we welcome Josie Perrin.
Another strong turnout with an U15 turnout of 12 girls. Warm welcome to newcomer Natalie Miller.
For our U17’s our strongest team this year of 13 girls was amazing. and helped us push for that solid second place.
Athlete of the match T-shirts go to Hannah Choudhury (U13’s) with 2 PBs and scoring 15 points for the team on the day, Esme Cerilli (U15’s) with two 2ndplaces, both PBs! and Madison Hutton (U17’s) for picking up 17 out of the maximum of 18 points including 2 PBs.
Next up is the Lily B Cup Final on 25thAugust 2018 at Sutton. We will be up against all the top teams from the league so the competition will be good but with a full strong team we have shown this season that we have every chance of bringing home the Cup. Beverly has already sent out the email asking you availability for the 25thso please respond (positively!) as soon as you can.
