Track & Field bursts into life but NOT forgeting the London!

K&P's own Kinnaird & Sward Trophies herald the arrival of Spring on Saturday 16th with the home club hoping to defend the Sward(Field) successfully and to bring an end to Achilles' 6-win sequence in the Kinnaird Trophy(Track).The Hammer & Pole Vault(Noon) open proceedings with the first track event(400mH) due off at 2pm. The 8 teams are: Achilles/Epsom & Ewell/Hercules Wimbledon/Thames Valley/Windsor,Slough,Eton & Hounslow/Blackheath & Bromley/St Mary's University/Kingston & Polytechnic.

Whilst essentially a Senior Mens' 8-club contest,guests are welcome from other teams(inc.U20s/U17s of reasonable standard),but please call 01932 789758 first.

The day after,the club's London Marathon aspirants are in action - see earlier preview on Jan 5th(Target London) on this menu - whilst there is the friendly Walton AC Open at Stompond Lane(entries on the day).

Next up is the opening round of the Ebbisham League on Sunday 24th,with the home team defending the Trophy for the second year and,on the 30th,the Southern Womens League Division two squad travel to Eton for their initial fixture.

We cater for runners, jumpers, throwers and multi-eventers on the track, in the field, on the roads or over the country and are based at Kingsmeadow in Kingston-upon-Thames (KT1 3PB). We'll be very happy to help you with your sport – so please just get in touch and we'll do all we can to assist.
