A good Mens turnout ensured a 2nd victory in 3 outings,but the Ladies struggled with only 4 souls,3 of them Vets. Scores - Men - K&P 55.5/R&T 45.5/BoE 41/BA 38.5/E&E 29.5/Walton 5 and overall K&P lead with 15.5 from BA 13,R&T 11,E&E 9,BoE 8.5 & Walton 6. On the Womens side - E&E 38,K&P 36,BA 8 and overall K&P lead with 14 from E&E 13,Walton & BA 6 and R&T 2.

The 4 ladies nearly won but succumbed by 2 points eventually - Camilla Thrush broke her own Club Open & Vets Hammer record by 4cms with 36.82,and it was her,Mary Waddington,Clare Nelson & Liz Richardson who held the line.Not to be outdone,Madame President also achieved an HT PB with 26.32(3k) and then,for the first time,competed against Humphrey(4x200R)! In the mens match,Humphrey returned to action,after missing the BAL,with vital points,Simon Grier won the 400(53.4),Owen Lewis tied the HJ(1.70),Draco took the 200(23.4),we galloped the 4 x 200(Mkpa,Mabika,Grier,Olukoya) in 1.37.2 and Rob Smith opened his Senior competitions with a 33.50 in the hammer which bodes well for his likely BAL debut in two weeks time at Southampton when Gareth Cook will be following the Lions in NZ.
