At the Surrey event on June 11th,again at Kingsmeadow, things were slightly more serious and there were some most notable performances - top of the pile, undoubtedly, were Matthew Field, who trounced his Inter Boys 100 hurdles rivals in 13.8, taking over half a second of his PB and equalling the National Schools standard, and Sarah Harris, who also romped to a significant Senior Girls 400 success in 58.1,hacking a further four tenths off her PB. Harriet Lester also won convincingly in the Junior Girls 75 hurdles(11.9/11.8ht) and Jenny Davies(IG SP 9.08),Josh Diffley(IB TJ 12.59) & Isabelle Hatton(SG JT 27.88) were also crowned Champions of Surrey. Others who made the top six were Neal Renfer(3 JB LJ 5.27),Stuart Price(3 IB 100H 14.8),Mary Iheke(4 JG 200 27.1 & 26.5ht),Lucy Jones(5 JG 75H 12.7),Stephanie Pearce(3 JG HJ 1.45),Claire Stonestreet(3 IG 200 27.0),Harriet Owens(4 IG 1500 5.22.4),Amy Dodd(2 IG HT 19.32) & Jasper Skinner(2 JB HJ 1.60).
