A most pleasant RBK Ceremony at the Hawker Centre saw more than a dozen K&P youngsters receive their Awards from the Mayor. Pride of place went to Dominique Blaize who was awarded the Jeremy Jellinek Award for the best young sportsperson in the Borough,who,in addition to their competitive successes,has contributed significantly to the development of others and of their club/school.

There were some 130 young sportsmen and women from the Borough representing many different sports. Several,alongside Dominique Blaize,had achieved GB & England recognition during 2005 and it was not surprising to note several names prominent in other sports who are,or have been,members of K&P.

The Borough Awards are given to those who have represented their sport at County level or higher and K&P members to receive the plaudits were Jenny Davies,Josh Diffley,Matthew Field,Sarah Harris,Isabelle Hatton,Prathamesh Kaneri,Gordon Lester,Harriet Lester,Neal Renfer,Jasper Skinner & Humphrey Waddington. Other currently-active members to win an award in another sport,and/or be nominated by their school, included Maddy Garner & Molly Renfer(Biathlon),Maddie Hardwick,Mary Iheke,Harriet Owens,Issie Penney & Patrick Tebble(Cross Country),Abi Gibbs(Fencing),Harriet Caruana(Hockey) & Ralph Street(Orienteering).

We cater for runners, jumpers, throwers and multi-eventers on the track, in the field, on the roads or over the country and are based at Kingsmeadow in Kingston-upon-Thames (KT1 3PB). We'll be very happy to help you with your sport – so please just get in touch and we'll do all we can to assist.
