A very hot day greeted everyone at Stompond Lane - with several selected for the Schools Inter-County at Southampton,some new members boosted some regulars and,though we were not a match for Guildford & Godalming,we made second again narrowly and are set for the Final in September with one match to go. Scores in our match : G&G 335/K&P 246/BRA 240/HW 89/DMV 81. Overall,K&P lie 4th with 14 league points,behind G&G(18)/AFD(16)/BRA(15) and ahead of E&E & Walton(12 each).

With just 4 U13s,we were never going to cover all the events,but Lucy Clacher(70H 13.1),Victoria Douglas100 14.5),Rahannah Gillette-Vernon(SP 6.15) and Eleanor van Klaveren(JT 17.33) all scored freely. At U15,Natalie Ellis took the DT(20.56) & Phoebe Haynes was over 1.50 in the HJ;and there were several 2nd places in support inc. a 13.7 100 from Charlie Ambidge. The very limited U17 programme allowed Kelly & Linda Randall to take a large share of the points available. Seventeen athletes were present.
