A merry bunch of the 'good and the 'great' travelled to the TVAC at Eton for a lively evenings grass roots entertainment. The sunny evening chilled later but it was fun - and the sprinters enjoyed favourable zephyrs.The Women again won handsomely whilst the Men were 3rd and were overtaken by the hosts,BA,though still hold 2nd comfortably after 4 of the 6 regular season matches. Match-Men: BA 63/SMR 59/K&P 54/TVH 27/E&E 23/Wal 14 and overall - BA 23/K&P 22/SMR 20/TVH 17(154)/E&E 17(146)/Wal 9/Bank 1. Match-Women: K&P 59/BA 32/E&E 14/Wal 10/SMR 6 and overall - K&P 24/E&E 19/Wal 14/TVH 10/BA 5/SMR 3.

On the womens side,Dominique Blaize showed a clean pair of sprint heels,taking a speedy 11.9/25.3 double and was joined in the club record stakes by Rachel Burbridge who lowered her 2000 Steeplechase mark to 7.42.0. Mary Iheke also excelled with a 25.9/59.8 200/400 double. Felix Hatton threw 60.65,almost twice as far as the 2nd thrower,and Chris Hall emulated Dominique completing a 10.9/22.7 double in the sprints. Owen Lewis(53.3), Peter Wilkins(4.52.1) & Ron Taylor(9.44.8) all won to bring smiles to their,and others', faces.Full results are on the Noticeboard shortly.
