There was plenty of good humour,and team spirit abounded,at this third SWL match - Sasha Gordon & Chyna Vincent had a whale of a time in the PV(both 2nd with 1.80 pbs) - but there were just too many commitments elsewhere again for us to do more than scrape over 100 points. We have slipped down the table to 18th and cannot afford a third consecutive low score next match at Erith on July 15th. Scores : Wycombe 189.5/Horsham 188/M Keynes 177/Hastings 111/K&P 108.5.

Mary Iheke(1B 100/LJ/80H) claimed 3 wins,Dominique Blaize two(1A 200/SP) and Sasha Gordon(1A LJ) one; Chyna Vincent improved in all her 3 events(inc 1.35 HJ);Barbara Mueller(inc 2.32.8 800) & Rachel Disley(inc 10.58.7 3000) coped admirably as the only 2 athletes available to cover the track events from 400 upwards;Roseanne Mackay collected good points in the 2 U17 hurdles,with fellow U17 Clarissa Brierley showing resilience in the throws added to a useful 200. In the U15s,we had just 4;Maddie Garner's 5.24.0 1500 & U13 Lucy Clacher's 2.43.5 800 being the pick of the marks with U13 Rahannah Gillette-Vernon & Natalie Ellis also in the mix.
