The 17-strong K&P squad fulfilled TM John Simmons' hopes of a leading place in the regular season table - with a win to clinch 3rd place overall. K&P will join G&G,AFD,Bracknell,E&E & S&D in the Cup Final on September 16th at Kingsmeadow.

Match result - M1 K&P 296/AFD 279.5/S&D 249/Walton 170.5/DMV 81/RSB 40 with the Final Regular Season Table - 1 G&G 27/2 AFD 23(931.5)/3 K&P 23(805)/4 Brack 22/5 E&E 18/6 S&D 17(685) - these are in the Cup Final - then the Plate Finalists are 7 Walton 17(541)/8 HW 14/9 DMV 13/10 F&C 12/11 RSB 9.

Feature of this summer's Lily B teams has been that we have fielded 17/18 for each match and the squad names have been almost entirely different each match! Of the 38 names,only 14 have competed in more than the one match - 'nuff said!

As before,the U17s swamped their opposition with Amy Simmons & Laura Luxon both double winners with Amy's 19.53 HT PB the best of the bunch.

At U15,Molly Renfer's 800 win in 2.34.3 was tops, though the feature in this group was the multi-participation which gleaned us plenty of points. Natalie Ellis's 21.29 DT was her best of the year and Marita Jeyarajan,the older of 3 debutant sisters,looked promising.

At U13,Bobita (70H 14.8) & Jenita(JT 10.56),Marita's younger siblings,each won a B string;Lucy Clacher again looked the part(2A 70H 13.5) and Eleanor van Klaveren's 20.07 JT showed her javelin-throwing father,Geoff, has passed on the genes.
