Special congratulations to Dominique Blaize,K&P's leading athlete,who has been offered a contract by the governing body. The outcome of any negotiations on what are reported to be the fairly stringent conditions will be watched with interest.

Meanwhile………..

Dominique will first concentrate on her efforts to secure a place on the GB team for the World Junior Champs in Beijing by contesting a Pentathlon in Bern,Switzerland over the weekend of July 23/24 where she will be hoping to improve on her winning 5124 pts PB at the AAA Championships recently. It was a blustery competition weatherwise in Stoke and she will hoping to find better conditions in Bern where her qualifying target will be 5400 pts. Bon chance!
