The range of lists available on the Internet defies belief from Club through County to National & International. However, please note that compilers may take some time to assimilate all the performances sent in to them. The K&P ones SHOULD be comprehensive. Also highly recommended is the independent site - www.athletics-results.co.uk - which is full of results, and astute and topical regularly-updated comment.
You can start with your own K&P Club Lists(click on Club Rankings off the Main Menu);then there are the County Lists - www.surreyathletics.org.uk;and there are two 'competing' sources nationally - www.athleticsdata.com(from AW) - and - www.powerof10.info(from UKA),the latter now christened on the BBC Sport website, unaffectionately,TEAPOT. K&P marks have been submitted, but you could also add yours ,if you think they are missing.
Sadly, the presence of TWO national lists is causing some irritation to more than a few - rivalry is one thing, but we have come to look upon the NUTS as indicative of pristine accuracy, and the competition between the two sites, both 'run' by NUTS members(but, sadly, for possibly financial reasons, subject to political engineering), is currently open to ridicule and bordering on farcical, since neither sites show any consistency. Some marks are on one site and not on the other. As a writer to AW states, one hopes POLICIES are not being formulated on 'duff gen'. All K&P performances have been also submitted to the appropriate National Union of Track Statisticians compilers, who, historically, have been responsible for the enormously successful, and definitive, Annual UK Rankings - and will, undoubtedly, remain so.
There will be a period of consolidation now the track season has ended with a number of previously unreported marks making their way to the Lists but the pick of the K&P athletes at the top end of the UK include William Trimble(9th U15B Javelin 47.46);Mary Iheke(8th U17W 300 39.8);Gordon Lester(5th U15B PV 3.35);Dominique Blaize(2nd U20W Heptathlon 5405pts/5th U20W 100H 14.11/7th= U20W HJ 1.75i/5th U20W LJ 6.00);Pat Logan(Leading M45 100/200 in UK);and Camilla Thrush(W35 Throws).
Others featuring highly include Mark Roberts(SM PV);Victoria Douglas(U13G LJ);Richard Smeaton(U15B 400);Humphrey Waddington & Chris Hall(U20M LJ/TJ);Sasha Gordon(U20W TJ);Liz Patrick(SW TJ);Eleanor van Klaveren(U13G JT);Rob Smith(U20M HT);Prath Kaneri(U17M HJ);Harriet Lester(U17W 80H);Lucy Jones(U15G 75H);Soracha Healy(U13G 200);Roseanne Mackay(U17W 300H) - and more - so why not have a look!! It could be you!.
In the Open UK lists,it's worth checking out Dominique in all her 4 top events;Jamie McCullagh at SM800(42nd);James Heptonstall at SM LJ(50th);Kyle Stevens at SP/HT(16th/48th);Nic Owen at SP(27th);Gareth Cook at HT(25th);Felix Hatton and Chris Dack at JT(13th&33rd).
