A tidy performance in Match 2 of the series enabled the team to notch up a useful 171pts for 3rd and now stand 7th after 2 rounds. The standard was marginally up on round one but the core of the team still scored significantly - a handy debut from Emily Harriman was augmented by wins from Sasha Gordon(BSLJ 5.17),Lana Whatley(BS100H 17.7),Camilla 'Yet more records' Thrush, ably backed by Amy Dodd and the customary treble from Dominique Blaize(HJ/LJ/100H) in the senior events.
In the U15s,a double from Harriet Lester and successes for Roseanne Mackay,Mary Iheke & Amy Trimble helped the team into 3rd place. With 2 of the 4 remaining fixtures at Kingsmeadow,a full, fit squad could challenge for one of the 6 promotion places. Scores:Enfield&H 228,Havant 175,K&P 171,NEB 166,Heathside 69.
