The first Southern Womens without the U15s was,as expected,a somewhat sedate affair - the teams went about their business with determination but with a Middle England calm!
The 13-strong K&P team were no match for the home team,but matched the Woking squad throughout and just slipped behind towards the finish to end up 3rd overall - the other 2 teams were decidedly thin.
Dominique Blaize,in advance of her IAAF Multi-Events competition in Italy,was our only A string winner(100H 15.1) but there were B successes for Harriet Lester(100HB 17.8),Debbie Raymond(3000) & Camilla Thrush(SP 10.02); Chyna Vincent(PV 1.90),Emily Kneebone(TJ 10.01),Anna Schlerf(100 13.9) & Lucy Jones(80H 13.4) collected PBs;Sasha Gordon collected 3 2nd slots(inc 1.50 HJ);Mary Iheke(despite the tailend of tonsilitis) ran a 12.5 100;Roseanne Mackay jumped 10.06 TJ & Vets Rachel Disley & TM Clare Nelson each contributed their share.
