Despite sole ever-present Rob Smith's most laudable efforts to keep the SML team afloat and Humphrey Waddington's field events heptathlon at Sutton,including PBs at Hammer(23.17) & Shot(8.89),K&P remained underpinning the division.
Match result - E Grinstead 180/Sutton&Bels 156.5/Serpentine 141.5/Holland S 131/RedhillSB 126.5/Bracknell 100.5/K&P 78 - and,in the final table,K&P were 14th(and last) with 6/265.
In the match events,U17 Martin Weighill continued to improve,running a PB 11.56 at 100;Mike Mason made a welcome reappearance;the said RobS(3A HT/SP 38.20/10.46) & HumphreyW garnered many points;and U17s Adam Wicks(10.72 TJ) & Matt Clements again showed that,if they stick at it,they will make useful seniors.
A handful of others(non-scoring) took advantage of quite favourable mid-afternoon conditions and the electronic timing - Adam Bellis(11.58/23.28),Maris Kuklis(11.68/23.58),James Moroney(11.81/23.91) & Jason Bernard(23.95),in particular,with Mike May preparing for Riccione(13.7/27.59).
