There was a good response from the Seniors/Vets to TM Debbie's exhortation to set an early benchmark with 8 toeing the line;as with the Men at Richmond Park, though, this did not extend to the YA with a mere 3 running.
Back in Div One again,Rachel Burbridge ran a fine race as usual claiming 20th place overall(16th in D1) in a substantial field of 277 finishers. There was then a gap,not unlike that in our male squad, before Debbie Raymond(76) led a K&P charge with Avelline Deighton(84),KU's Cypriot student,Emine Ulucay(87) & Susanne Dietrich(92) in hot pursuit;then came Nicky Atkins(103),a returning Maddy Hardwick(117) & Johanna Gibbons(131).This gave us 355pts(in D1) in 14th place(156 finishers).
Molly Renfer,our sole U15,again performed splendidly for 9th(6th U15) in the U17/U15 race - the race start/finish is,almost literally,on her front doorstep! While in the U13s,twins Layla & Mae Thompson were 34th & 35th.
