A very good turnout for Race 3 of the 4-match season was thwarted slightly by an improvement from closest rivals,Elmbridge RR - though we led them coming into the fixture,they took 59 points out of us and slipped past us to head us by 54;we shall need full steam ahead to get out of the bottom 3 at the last match. Belgrave A had a disaster and are now 24 points behind us but they have guns to bring out,so Elmbridge remain our realistic target to avoid the return to Div Two in 2008/9.

Nonetheless,there is plenty of optimism.

Rachel Burbridge yet again led us home finely in 22nd(25.54),followed by Jenny Rice(50th-27.51),Debbie Raymond(77th-29.08),Avelline Deighton(85th-29.30) and Susanne Dietrich(102nd-30.20). The scoring 5 totalled 336pts in 13th place.Then came Nicky Atkins(105th-30.29),Emine Ulucay(108th-30.38) and debuting Gill Broderick(165th-36.41).

Molly Renfer had another fine run in the U15 race,taking 6th from a sizeable field,whilst Layla(30th) & Mae(36th) Thompson were competitive in the U13 event.
