Sponsored by John Ratcliff's Sprint Music,the Club and the athletes can thank the professionalism and commitment of the visiting officials and our own K&P members,outdoors and inside, for offering a reasonable product for the competitors,since the weather behaved decidedly badly. Even so,there was much enthusiasm from the predominantly young entry,and things can only get better!

With the rain dominating procedures,accomplished performances from the K&P entry of over 50 members were few,but amongst the best were : George Wilkins' U15B 80H win(13.72)/Tom Parry's(14.36) & Adam Wicks'(15.79) U17M 100H battle/Roseanne Mackay's 100/150 double(13.60&20.60)/Katja Shlerf's 48.29 U17W 300/Jason-Louis Bernard's SM 300 success(37.39)/Victoria Douglas' U15G LJ win at 4.37/William van Klaveren's U13B JT throw(26.31)/and Billy Osborne's U17M 40.56 effort.

Other promising marks/performances included Victoria Douglas at 100(14.04),Charlie Ambidge's 13.04 U17W 100,Michael Kermode's narrow 100 win from Alex Mackintosh,a tight win over 300 U17 for Tom Parry(39.12) from Richard Smeaton(39.71),an U13 B HJ/LJ double from Alex Mackintosh,and an U11 LJ win at 3.06 from Joe Noakes.
