A very pleasant warm day attracted a larger K&P turnout than is usual(13) for an SML fixture,though it was at home.New ex-CUAC all-rounder,Bilen Ahmet,had a field day in his first outing in K&P colours - just a warm down from his 15 events as a guest at the CUAC Sports the week before!!

The eight scoring members won most of their events in what is a truoe grassroots division and we finished a welcome 3rd of the 6 teams with 97pts.

Bilen Ahmet took the A string HJ/TJ/LJ/JT,amongst others and contributed 41 of the 97 pts total! There were customary A wins from Rob Smith,who was just short of 40m in the Hammer;James Moroney over both 100/400 and Jason Bernard over 400 - both won easily and all 3 looked well likely to challenge for BAL places. James Moffat took the DT,Rob Lowe won the B Javelin,Draco Mkpa the 200 and U20 Aljosa Isakovic ran a useful 2.14.5 to win his 800.

Five others took advantage as non-scorers - Nick Owen's first outing saw him out to a 14.63 SP;Mike Maranzano & Andy Arbour both had useful runs in the 3k Steeplechase,Adam Bellis looked sprightly over 100,200 & 400 and,as well as officiating,Mike May ran up to form over 400.
