John Simmons' turnout of 19 girls(inc 3 U11s)was as good as most of the 14 clubs. As a result,we claimed 2nd in our match,behind Guildford and,in the table,we hold 3rd overall. Scores - G&G 361,K&P 246,E&E 207 etc with HHH heading the other match with 300pts from Reigate 235.
In the U13s(5),it was the Thompson twins who led the points gathering,assisted by Lauren Edwards,Emily Douglas & Laura Cook - best marks were probably Layla's 2.55.6 800 and Lauren's 1.20 HJ.
At U15 level(5),Victoria Douglas,Megan Philip & Dominika Wrobel scored well,supported by Claudia Noakes & Cathy Hensman - best performances were probably Victoria's 13.6 100 & Megan's 13.0 75 Hurdles.
We fielded 6 athletes in the U17s - leading efforts were Molly Renfer's 44.4 300/5.09.5 1500 double and wins for Katja Schlerf,Natalie Ellis(2) & Olivia,with Francesca Currie,busy as ever,claiming 3x2nds(inc 2.41.8 800) & Chiamaka Ojechi picking up good points in the sprints. We also won the relay.
Three U11s - Caitlin Dimbleby,Ellie Manhire & Eva Clarke - showed promise for the future.
