A mere 12 K&P athletes made the journey to the TVAC at Eton,but we did manage to place 2nd in both M & W; we are similarly placed after 4 fixtures in the Men and still lead the Women.

Match - Men - SMR 49/K&P 32/BA 29/WAL 22/E&E 16=====Women - SMR 29/K&P 26/E&E 13/WAL 8/BA 5.

The Men can very much thank Ron Taylor for maintaining a Finals Qualifying position since he again solely ran the 800/1500/3000 for K&P;there was a welcome reappearance from Tony MacDowall who won the 2kSteeple;whilst Chris Hall,Jason Bernard,Victor Nwagbara & Rob Lowe gleaned most of our other points.We failed,however,to field a vaulter,anyone over 400(that's metres not years,as we did have a couple of ancients in action) and a relay team!!!

The Ladies were also sparse - Clare McLeish won both sprints,Dominique the 400 and Sasha the LJ,with the latter's mum,Debbie,completing the 'squad'. Only 6 of the 12 events were covered,but it WAS lively!

Not exactly an exultant turnout! Full results on the NB at K;or from your TMs.Next match July 2nd at Twickers - can we have some more support,please.
