All three of our Masters have made their respective 200 Finals in Slovenia - Draco Mkpa ran 4th in his SF in 23.05,and he could go under 23secs in that Final;indeed,he will have to,as all the other 7 finalists did so! Pat Logan was 3rd in his SF(23.78 =SB) and Chuck Isetts was 2nd in his(28.70 =SB). And news from the 200 Finals - Pat grabbed the M45 bronze in a season's best of 23.58;M35 Draco ran in 6th,also in a 2008 best of 23.00,not very much adrift of his all-time PB;and Chuck was out of the M60 medals in 8th(29.16).HCA Howard Moscrop added a 100H bronze & a 4x4 Gold in his M50 group to his 400H gold. Humphrey Waddington, though not 100% fit,was delighted to receive, and accept,an invite to the UK Challenge Final at Eton(9th);the more so since he seems to have acquired a small remuneration for his troubles and his 14m12 jump!

Back on the 9th,Jason Bernard picked a foul afternoon at the LICC at Parliament Hill, running some way out of his recent form over 100/200.

Rachel Burbridge, however, continued her recent run of good form at the Banstead Woods TT(16th),finishng 16th overall in 19m41,and,a week later, she improved 19.28 in 21st.
