After her fine run in the Surrey League,18 year old Maddy Hardwick shone again in the friendly Bank of England InterClub in Richmond Park(25th)- on a hilly course, she lit out with the leaders, and gave most of the mainly-male field a run for their money. She finished 13th(32.38) of the 30+ field, and was 5th scorer for K&P with only Matt Hyett(4th 27.46),Michael Huntley(5th 28.14),Ant Budarkiewicz(8th 28.54)) & Peter Wilkins(12th 32.20) ahead of her.Back-up featured Graham Huntley(20th 34.34),Geoff Reed(27th 38.26),Dave Gibbons(28th 39.22) & David Barrington(30th slowly). The winner did 26.33 and Cashel Riordan ran untimed.K&P,in this 8-to-score match, were 2nd(115pts),yet again,to Thames(79),with Bank 3rd with 128.

K&P HCA Julian Hough(London Uni) claimed a PB of 73.23 in his home club-promoted Stroud Half-Marathon(26th),which gave him a more than useful 11th in the 200-strong field.

Earlier(19th),James Moroney finished 2nd in the Epsom Downs 5k Dash - issuing a warning to our 800 runners!!!!!!

Another missing track mark found - Intrepid Geoff Reed won the Civil Service M60 2000 Steeplechase at Battersea on Sep 10th(10.28.0).
