Jenny Archer,coach to Paralympic gold medallist,David Weir,was named as one of the National Award winners at the recent UK Coaching Awards ceremony,whilst the latter,whose CV is brimming with Successes, was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's New Year's Honours List.

Jenny is a well-known figure at Kingsmeadow - she was honoured in the High Performance Coach of the Year category for her outstanding contribution to David Weir's successes in Beijing. She was named alongside other HP coaches from swimming,sailing,rowing,cycling & golf.
Jenny has vast input into sport in Surrey and elsewhere - she is a qualified UKA T&F coach and has frequently assisted K&P,whilst,in addition to her work with Wheelchair athletes,she has a fine reputation in football,where she is also a qualified FA Coach,particularly with the old Wimbledon FC etc where she has worked especially in injury rehabilitation for young footballers.
