Taking advantage of an inexplicable 'promotion' from a lowly placing in the 2008 Div 4S table,plus the cessation of the BAL barring clauses,a small team of 10 enjoyed themselves at K2,finishing 2nd in their match; this despite a mass emergency evacuation onto the track from the adjacent leisure centre which delayed matters. We are 6th(of 16) with 4 more matches to come. The 2 clashes with BAL matches may change the tune,not least because Bilen Ahmet's 11-event contribution will be missed.

Match Result - Serpentine 103.5/K&P 85.5/Hastings 84.5/Holland S 69.5.

Bilen's energetic afternoon was highlighted by 5 A string wins - HJ 1.70/PV 3.50/110H 20.0/400H 65.7/JT 35.64 - and he was proficient,too,with his 30.44 DT. Maurice Joyce had a busy time covering 4 events and it was a change to have athletes at 1500/5000,albeit Ramon Benitez and Matt Hyett doubling up. Maris Kuklis won the A 100/200 with 12.1/24.8 whilst Jason-Louis Bernard(52.6) and James Moroney(51.5) mopped up the 400s. We also took the 4 x 100 with Jason,Maris,Bilen & Mike May(49.2).
