K&P's Women set about reclaiming the Rosenheim Western Division title from St Marys Richmond by narrowly winning M1 of the 6 fixture schedule. The Men,however,did not secure their 'home banker',losing out to SMR by 51-43.

Sasha's girls were steady throughout the evening with contributions from all Age Groups and were able to summon enough points to edge SMR by a couple at the end,taking a lead to Match 2 at Walton on May 20th. Our only two wins came in the PV(Debbie Raymond) and in the final 4 x 200 in which Tasha Cook,Lana Whatley,Katja Schlerf & Dominique Blaize brought us home. However,the highlight was in the non-scoring PV where U15 Claudia Noakes improved her own Open Club record to 2m90.

Whilst the Men did win half the events,we failed to field a competitor in the Triple Jump and,surprisingly,the 4 x 200 and this left us adrift of SMR. Winners were Justin Green(100/200),Jamie McCullagh(400),Craig Price(800),Tom Parry(400H in another PB of 57.4) & Nick Owen(Shot - with a useful opener at 14m74). Otherwise,with the County Champs in mind at the weekend,it was good to see Richard Smeaton(51.7 400),Jason-Louis Bernard(23.0 200) & Rob Smith(39m25 Hammer) rounding into form.
