Some 18 K&P members competed for their Boroughs on a fine warm day.

Hussein Al-Kemakchi(Inter Boys SP) and Patrick Hillyer(SB TJ) were our victors and Tom Parry was 2nd in the SB 400H in another PB and U20 Clu;b record(55.72) - these were the standout performances.

There were also highly commendable efforts from Kiran Richards(10th in the JB TJ in 10.69pb);from Ali Kokaz(4th in the IB 100 Final 11.65pb);from Katelyn Aitchison,who took 3rd in the 80Hurdles in a nippy pb(12.85);from Rohit Naha(IB) with a large PB 11.97 Triple Jump;and from Harriet Lester(2nd in the SG 100H),who at last cracked the 17sec barrier with a useful 16.80.

Other performers included JBs Matt Elmore(4F LJ 5.13) and Tom Rouvray(26.39 200);IBs Patrick Beeley(26.32 200) and George Corcoran(5th 1500 4.19.98);JGs Rachel Cook(3.02.61 800),Helen Davies(a PB 800 at 2.43.22),Stephanie Haley(4.24 LJ) and Minty Allen(14.11 75H);and IGs Becky Kill(3F SP 8.94) & Rahannah Gillette-Vernon(4F JT 27.81).

2009 was not a vintage year for K&P,with the likes of Gordon Lester & William Trimble out of serious action, and selection for the English Schools(not yet announced) is likely to be minimal.
