A handy turnout for both M & W at a warm but breezy Barn Elms, a favourite haunt for sprinters and Canada geese.Snippets included pbs for,amongst others,Liz Richardson(3000 12.48.3),Felix Hatton( DT 41.36),Humphrey Waddington(100 11.8/3000 10.41.9),Rachel Burbridge(400 61.8) & M40 Roger Bayliss(800 2.23.0) plus very friendly help,as ever this summer, from our 2nd claimers Steve Cotton,Steve Huckstep & Peter Walsh.Over at Tooting,Jamie McCullagh claimed a pb 1.52.4 and at Battersea Mike May(M40) ran a season's best at 100(13.3).
Barn Elms scores were - Men K&P 61,R&T 49,BA 32 etc with R&T in lead overall with 27.5 from K&P 24.5,BA 17.5 etc and Women K&P 53,E&E 19,Walton 18 etc and overall K&P lead with 24 from E&E 17,Walton 15 etc. Last fixture is at the Bank of England on July 28th at which all are very welcome.
