News from a sweltering Stockwood Park.

With a list of absentees as long as your arm,it was to the extreme credit of the 8 competitors available for this 3rd Round match,and the TMs,Clare & Debbie,who were amongst that number,that we actually managed to gather 49.5 points…and still remain 12th overall in the Division and out of the 4-club relegation zone.

Four members were appearing for the first time in the 2009 SWL,notably Isabelle Hatton who donned the mantle of top scorer,collecting 15 pts and including 2 wins and a useful 16.6 100Hdls into the bargain. Debbie Raymond contested 7 events(inc. both relays),winning the B100H and accumulating 11 pts. Tasha Cook(4 events),Clare Nelson(3),Nicky Atkins(4),Rahannah Gillette-Vernon(4),Debbie Vernon(2) & Liz Richardson(4) made up the squad,to whom K&P should be truly grateful come the end of the season. Two matches remain to gird the loins.
