Portsmouth won most of the events, but we were able to grab 4 pts in three - best was probably Maddy Hardwick's 3000 victory in a PB 10.43.8;Camilla Thrush threw her best Hammer of the summer(38m.27) as she leaves for the World Masters in Finland;and Dominique Blaize, returning gingerly, took the 100Hurdles.
Three new U17s turned out to bolster the numbers - Rochelle Smith,Ellie Felicien & Marion Vincer - and played their part,along with regulars Emily McIlwain(pb TJ 9.15),Tash Cook(pb 400 68.7),Debbie Raymond,Liz Richardson,Isabelle Hatton(sb 400H 72.8),Rahannah Gillette-Vernon and Debbie Vernon.
