40TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

will be held on

Saturday 17th October

at the Ramada Hotel and Resort

Penns Lane, Walmsley, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B76 1LH

We hope there will be a massive turnout for this once in a lifetime occasion.

The BAL has reached a deal with the hotel whereby prices for the occasion will be as follows:

Dinner Bed and Breakfast sharing a twin or double room £75 per head

Dinner Bed and Breakfast single room only £85 per head

Dinner only £40 per head

The provisional timetable for the event is:

7.00 Reception

7.30 The BAL over 40 years

8.00 Dinner

9.30 Until late: Reminiscing

We intend to limit formal speeches to a minimum but there will be an introduction looking back at our illustrious history, and a guest speaker. We are not envisaging a series of presentations at this event.

This is an event for BAL members, friends and their partners/guests without limitation.

Our current and former clubs are encouraged to take tables of 8 either themselves or in partnership with friends.

Individuals and life members - indeed everyone who would like to come - can make direct applications for places.

We are taking requests on a first come first served basis and require cheques for the full amount payable to British Athletics League.
