(Oct 31st - Maureen Chitty took 33rd in the Roundshaw Downs TT(32.57) and Minty Allen(25.17) was 107th in Wimbledon Common race).

On a foul morning(1st) in Nonsuch Park,Ron Taylor(8th 38.46),Matt Hyett(14th 39.50) & Liz Richardson(80th 49.03) splashed around David Denton's 2nd Surrey Classic 10k; occasional competitor,M45 Ian Broderick,also ran into a useful 40th place(44.39). 163 finished. Matt is 13th overall and Liz 60th,with one to go.

4th - Ron Taylor(15.22) won the Woking 3Mile Monthly Handicap race,'easily',as they say at the 'gee-gees'.

7th - Bushy Park parkrun - Ron Taylor was at it again,taking 3rd in 17.17,with Liz Richardson(183rd 23.09) & Natalie Sacre(321st 26.04) both setting PBs over the course. Liz's other half,Ian,ran into 237th(24.08).

14th - BPTT - Natalie Sacre 217th 26.23.

14th - Up in Warwickshire,James Robertson brought his University quartet home in 2nd place in the Warwick Relays and was overall 3rd fastest male(10.37) from almost 70 competing.

14th - At the Lord Mayor of London's Show,George Corcoran,brother Patrick and Molly Renfer(by dint of their performances in the London Mini-Marathon races),were invited to the Lord Mayor's Mile in the City,representing RBK - in the B15-17 group,George ran 4.49.35; in the B13-14s Patrick 4.58.72 and Molly in the G15-17s 5.18.82.

21st - Richmond Park TT - Young George Corcoran joined James Moroney,as a K&P TT winner this year,winning this week's race by a street(26secs),in a new pb of 17m59.

21st - Bushy Park TT - A new pb,too,for Natalie Sacre - 265th in 25m58 - hope we shall see her in the next Surrey Ladies league on Dec 12th.

21st - Parliament Hill - Results from the SEAA Inter County Champs/London Champs are playing hard to get,but Maddie Hardwick(25.03) was 69th/215 overall in the combined SW/Vets/U20 race,but,more significantly,was 4th scorer for the gold-medal winning Surrey Under 20s team,and was 3rd in the London U20 Champs; Gaby Miles(21.09) placed 35th/150 in the U17 event,and was 5th in the Londons;whilst Jenny Miles(17.54) took bronze in the London U15s race.Good hunting for the Girls on a benign Parly Hill day(reports Sue Miles).

28th - Bushy Park TT - 308th Natalie Sacre 25.46 pb and John Atkins(V50) 487th - 36.31.

28th - West Wickham - Ron Taylor was the Lone K&P Ranger at the South of Thames 5Miles Champs at Sparrow's Den - he ran reasonably OK to finish 57th in a mixed M&F field of 208.
