A good start to the lower age group YDL at the weekend.

We always knew it was going to be tough because so many of our athletes were at the Mini Marathon, but all our athletes pulled together with great team spirit and managed a very creditable 4th place from 7 against strong opposition.

There were many PB, other great times (thwarted by strong winds) and some big distances in the field events.

Just to note a couple of performances, Grindan did the U15 sprint double as did Emma in the U13s (she also won the LJ). Pascal only just missed the double in the U13 boys with two strong runs. Lukas ran a very strong 300m and Tim jumped a big LJ. In the U15 Girl's 200 Amber was very quick.

Well done everyone, the rest of the season looks very exciting.

We cater for runners, jumpers, throwers and multi-eventers on the track, in the field, on the roads or over the country and are based at Kingsmeadow in Kingston-upon-Thames (KT1 3PB). We'll be very happy to help you with your sport – so please just get in touch and we'll do all we can to assist.
