Colin Campbell

It is with great sadness that the club announces that Colin Campbell, a Poly Harriers great, passed away shortly before Christmas.
Colin competed in the 400 and 800m at the 1968 and 1972 summer Olympics and then went onto compete in the 1976 Winter Olympics as part of the 4 man bob sled team.
Colin continued his involvement in athletics completing as a Vet and winning a Gold for GB in the M45 4x400m relay at the 1991 World Athletic Championships in Finland.
The club would like to extend it condolences to Colin's Family and Friends, while at the same time celebrating his achievements in Athletes for Poly Harriers and Great Britain.
