WEEKEND RESULTS🙌
It has a been an amazing weekend for one Momentum Sports athlete in particular. @sophiexdoherty traveled to Scotland this past weekend to compete in the Schools International Athletics Association (SIAB) Combined Events Indoor International.

Having to compete this late in the season is tough for any athlete, particularly if your season started as early as April! Despite suffering from a knee injury leading up to this event, and a DNF in the hurdles, Sophie coped fantastically to come away with a team GOLD🥇 for England. She also still managed to PB in the long jump, high jump & shot put! A big congratulations to her!!👏👏

In other XC news, we had another Downs League for the younger athletes of the club. A valiant effort out in the cold for these guys, so congratulations to them as well! And thank you to Maarten D’Haese for the photos!
