Another great weekend of results for Momentum Sports athletes! We had a few athletes competing in indoors at the Southern Indoor Champs (U13/15/17) & the Surrey XC league🏃♀️🏃♀️ At the SEAA champs, we had Ava John competing in the U15 300m, 60mH & LJ. Ava finished 8th in the LJ with 4.54m, 6th in the 60mH final in 9.47s and made it to the 300m final but was unfortunately DQ’d - still a fanastic effort from Ava over the weekend. Well done also to Jemima Harcourt competed in the U17 60m (8.43s) and the 60mH (9.76s), alongside Kira Holt. Kira went into the 60mH final as one of the slower fastest losers - quite a hurdle to overcome (😉) but brought the best performance when it mattered to pick up a bronze medal in a PB of 8.96s!🥉 a well deserved medal and great performances from all 3 girls.
Over in the XC, the men had plenty of top performances - most of our athletes finishing in the top 50. Oliver Bridge finishing 4th, Michael Huntley in 12th, Alex Thomas 22nd, James Robertson 36th and Jack Stracey 49th & David Greenfield 314th.
On the women’s side, also some fantastic performances across the board. As always, Mae Thompson producing a great run to finish 3rd, followed by Ellie Arnfield in 35th, Nicky Atkins in 75th and Caroline Jeffcote in 232nd. U15 Evie Priest and U13 Josie Perrin also running well in the juniors races, finishing 13th & 28th.Brilliant racing from all our guys and gals!!🏆 Well done Momentum and @kingstonac, a very successful weekend.
