Yesterday a number of people paid their last respects to Maurice in a very moving ceremony and back at the track. It was another exciting day of competition on Saturday at the Lily B League final where lightning did indeed strike twice as the meet was delayed again by over 40 minutes due to torrential downpours, thunder and lighting!

A BIG thank you to all of you, both UKA Technical Officials and willing volunteer parents who have helped out and given of their time to support the athletes in the club at their meetings. We are gaining momentum in the number of qualified officials the club now has.(All we need now are a couple of timekepers)!
